Home Energy Audit
It takes a lot of energy to heat, cool, and operate a home. Most home buyers have no idea how much it will cost them to operate their home once they move in. Current homeowners do not fully understand how much energy and, therefore, money is being wasted by their home. And if they did understand, neither home buyers nor homeowners would know what to do about it.
The Home Energy Report will give the home buyer a quick understanding of:
how much the home will cost to operate (once you move in);
where energy (and, therefore, money) is being wasted in the home; and
what can be done to save energy and increase comfort after you move in.
Inspect for all wood-destroying insects, with three month termite and carpenter ant treatment guarantee. Including termite letter.
Inspection of Pump and filtration systems, water lines and valves.
Location and Inspection of Reservoir tank. Dye pack test from house to tank. Distribution drain field can only be inspected during installation process.
Single Component Inspection
There are times when you may just want us to look at the Electrical system only… or maybe the Roof only. Single component inspections are for just one area of a standard residential inspection. You may have a need to inspect just one system (perhaps Electrical), and we can just do one area at a time. The components include your choice of the following areas: ROOF, FOUNDATION, ELECTRICAL System, PLUMBING System (interior), HEATING System, and AIR CONDITIONING System.
Expert Witness Testimony
If you’re thinking of pursuing litigation against a Home Inspector, Builder, Contractor or other party we can help.
Our inspectors provide their support and expertise to homeowners during legal proceedings related to incomplete or inaccurate home inspections, unskilled contractor services, builder incompetence, as well as other related disservices.
The legal process is intimidating – especially when you’re up against contractors, builders or even other home inspectors and not familiar with the construction and home inspection industry yourself.
Not knowing the language, the terms and basic principles can be a big disadvantage. It would easier if you were an expert, so why not hire one?
Eastern Home Inspections can help by attending court and providing their expertise and credentials to support your claims during litigation.
